The “info” inbox of headwillcollapse has become somewhat of a sacrificial lamb battered endlessly by the arrival of spam through the magic interweb pipe. The majority of it these days consists of messages from Wordpress informing that someone wants to leave a comment like “Now I dont have to feel so intimated by science! “ while insisting I should “check outâ€? their awesome viagra/dodgy investment/porn site.

However once in a while I get something far more underhanded, like a message that arrived not so long ago entitled “Dreamcast Saints myths�.

What potential that subject held! I could barely contain my excitement at the prospect of finding out, after all these years, who the Dreamcast Saints were and what myths they had associated with them. Images flashed into my mind of St. Augustine of Samba de Amigo on his journey of discovery through the “special stage�, and St. Urban of JSR who brought joy to the people through his use of wall grinding.

Imagine my horror and disappointment, then, when I discovered that the e-mail was nothing more than a sham, offering no insight into the lives and miracles of these Sega Saints whatsoever. When will people learn that there are certain topics that cannot be made a mockery of? When? I can only hope that the Lord Robotnic is both swift and vengeful in his punishment of these spamming sinners.
