Ah, Eve Online, how you make me wish that a. I could fly a real spaceship (not this kind of junk) and b. that space was really this pretty.

About space being ‘really this pretty’: It always used to dissapoint me to think that when you see those cool images from Hubble and the like, that wasn’t actually what you’d see if you were there. They’d done things like colourising the different gasses and shifting the colour spectrum.
But then I realised that by the time humans actually get that far into space, we’ll be able to ratchet out vision from IR to UV at the flick of a software-inna-head switch. And then I was happy.
I want my incredible future-eyes now, damnit!
