They'd done things like colourising the different gasses and shifting the colour spectrum. But then I realised that by the time humans actually get that far into space, we'll be able to ratchet out vision from IR to UV at the flick of a software-inna-head switch. And then I was happy. I want my incredible future-eyes now, damnit!
